"The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want."

Psalm 23:1

Jesus declared, "I am the Good Shepherd."

"Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture."

Psalm 100:3

W. Phillip Keller wrote a best seller called, “A Shepherd Looks At Psalms 23.” Phillip Keller lived in East Africa and was a shepherd to numerous sheep. He also lived in British Columbia where he worked in agricultural research, land management and ranch development. These experiences have equipped him with the insight and perspective of a sheep under the shepherd’s care.

I am on my second read of “A Shepherd Looks At Psalms 23.” The first read was for information; the second is for wisdom, knowledge and insight into my own journey under the Good Shepherd’s care. In this blog, “The Word” I share what God is giving me as I work through “A Shepherd Looks At Psalms 23.” and the ultimate guide to life, the Bible.
